Installation Guide 

Step 1

Download & install the software program

• Download the midas Gen software installation files here.
• Once downloaded, unzip the .zip file and run the "Setup.exe" file.
• Extract all the files at the preferred location. 

• Right-click on the setup file in the installation folder and select “run as administrator.”

• When asked about removing the previously installed version of midas Gen, select no.

• Click on next in the installation wizard.

• Select ok for the dialogue box asking to install MS Internet Explorer.

• Select next.

• Provide the user name and company name, and click next.

• Select the destination folder and click next.

• Click next.

• Select “do not install” for the installation protection lock driver and click on next.

• Check on “run midas now” and click on Finish.

Step 2

Activate the web license

• Create your MIDAS account here.
• Then, open the program.

• Browse help on the right top of the midas window and select the Register Protection key.

• Choose “Web authentication.”

• Provide the User ID and password with which the account has been created on the midas website.

• Provide Protection key ID as received from the midas team.

• Click on Select product.

• Choose Select all.

• Click on Ok.
