midas Civil Software Installation Guide
Step 1
Download the software program
- Download the midas Civil software installation files here
- Once downloaded, unzip the .zip file and run the "Setup.exe" file
Step 2
Install the software program
- Extract all the files at the preferred location
- Right-click on the setup file in the installation folder and select "Run as administrator."
- When asked about removing the previously installed version of midas Civil, select no.
- Click on next in the installation wizard
- Select ok for dialogue box asking to install MS internet explorer
- Select next
- Provide the User name and Company name and click next
- Select the destination folder and click next
- Click next
- Select "Do not install" for installing the protection lock driver and click next
- Check on "Run midas now" and click on Finish
Step 3
Activate the web license
- Create your MIDAS account here
- Then, open the program and follow these steps:
- Browse help on the right top of the midas window and select the Register Protection key
- Choose "Web authentication."
- Provide User ID and password with which account has been created on midas website
- Provide Protection key ID as received from the midas team
- Click on Select product
- Select right PID, which is corresponding to the PKID, from the top drop-box menu
- Choose Select all
- Click on OK
Now that you have finished installing the software,
it's time to try the powerful features and capabilities of midas Civil software!
